So the guy cried about an animal being killed by another animal. Wow. That's terrible. In fact, that's soooooo terrible, that he must not be a man at all. Heh.

This guy, because he's different is somehow LESS than all of you Manly Men? Again, heh.

I say, heh, that the lot of you are a bunch of cretins.

After all, there is NO point in trying to understand HIS point of view when he clearly does not, or is it can not, understand yours. Is there? Why be tolerant or, heaven forfend, try to educate him about feeding snakes WITHOUT attacking him for eating meat.

That's really pretty lame. The one has NOTHING to do with the other.

The guy may be a wuss. but so what? Wusses don't get to have opinions? And who's to say he's really a wuss? You cowboys who are so blessed as to be able to feed one animal to another without feeling guilt or remorse which, since YOU don't feel it, must be wrong, bad, evil even.

Yeah.

Glad I'm not 'friends' with some of you tolerant non-gossipy folks.

I never said anything about him being a wuss. I DID point out that there are many other animals who will kill and torture others--that most people generally ignore. People might get grossed out when their dogs and cats bring them 'gifts'...But very few people will actually sob about it and think about the pain and how long it could have taken that animal to actually die... Just part of nature.. And yet, snakes are often excluded from that natural order, and feeding them is just cruel and disgusting? Especially if you were to feed p/k... we try to do things as humanely as possible, we do love animals after all, we just also happen to love carnivores who can't be fed processed food as well. I do feel bad when my snake refuses to eat p/k or f/t.. It makes me uncomfortable, but I don't end up bawling because I understand it's a part of life. But I have seen what happens when a cat--another animal I love dearly--decides that it wants to play with another living thing before finally ending it's life. It's rather gruesome and I feel it is important to acknowledge that fact. I also think it's important, if you eat meat you must know where it comes from. Make an educated choice, guys! I try to only get my meat from places I believe are better about caring for their animals, but I don't hide and say it's different, as I know..something was killed so that I can eat. Be it a mouse for a snake or a gazelle for a lion. Part of that whole circle of life junk
