Sentec Cages
I am looking to purchase a few display cages for my bp's. I have a whole room set up now for my snakes and would like to show a few of them off. I really like the 6 foot sentec cages, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I really like that I can put the divider in them and make them into to cages. Which is what I am planning on doing. I know that they are a little expensive and a real overkill for bp's, but I think that they look awesome... Thank for any info that can be provided....

I like their idea to a certain extent, but I have some reservations.
One thing to keep in mind, any metal (aluminium in this case) will sink heat away from where you want it.
They are made with aluminum extrusion (80/20, t-slots, etc). If you've built anything out of legos or erector as a kid, you could design and build your own with ease. 80/20 is a bit expensive, so you might not save any money this way, but you could customize your design to suit a particular reptile, or size.
With anything metal I always prefer a welded structure as opposed to 80/20 unless portability is of concern. A welded structure will always be more durable, whereas 80/20 sets up and breaks down easily so it is highly portable. In this case the benefits of portability may outweigh that of a welded structure. There was a traveling exhibition at the local natural history museum the Fernbank in Atlanta, which featured many different species of geckos. All of the enclosures were constructed out of 80/20. It was a great exhibition, I'll see if I can dig up some photos.

Yeah, from the look of Sentecs it looks like they're really made for heated rooms. As nice as they look, they don't fit my needs.

Re: Sentec Cages
I have personally been to see these cages in operation. Eric has a room setup for all his snakes with sentec cages and they are amazing. If you can afford them they really make snake keeping easier. They are very easy to clean and if you have aggresive snakes it makes it very easy to clean by yourself without help. They are also appealing to the eye. very clean looking as the aluminum actually looks pretty cool as a outline. I really like the option of the lock on the door also. All in all if I could afford them I would purchase these and may even look into their upright racks too.

I have been putting money away for caging, and I thought these cages were awesome. The guys of at Sentec have been great answering all of my questions, and in a very prompt fashion. I really think that these are the cages that I am going to buy..
