    I'm terribly sorry, that sounds absolutely devastating. Dobermans are amazing dogs for sure.

    My mom owned a Doberman for 14 1/2 years, and I believe he was still around for maybe a couple months after I was born. Then we got Max when he was around 5 months old.

    Couldn't have said it better. Dogs definitely have a huge impact on our lives.
