What to do after the babies come?

I am attempting my first season of breeding, and I am hoping that it is a success.

In anticipation that it is; I have a couple of questions about the babies.

First, when do you feed them? It seems to me that I remember hearing somewhere that they shed about a week after they hatch and then you feed them right after the first shed? Do most of you feed a large fuzzy mouse or a small, small adult?

Secondly, at what age can you pop them? Is it a good idea to wait after they eat their first meal, or do some sex them right after they hatch?

Thanks in advance, and hopefully I need to use this information this year!

I pop my snakes right out of the egg to know my sex ratio and than again when they go in their own individual tub.

I keep them in the same tub (on damp paper towel) until they all have their first shed, once they have their first shed I put them in their own tub and proceed to offer their first meal 2 to 3 days later.

If they don't take that first meal I try again a week later.

I start my hatchlings on rat crawlers, those that do not take rats are started on mice hoppers.

I keep interaction to a strict minimum (maintenance)
