A normal male ball python for $125???Even in Canada, I can't imagine prices like that. Sure, maybe at a pet store where they sell to folks who don't know any better....but most breeders out there (and Canada has its fair share!) can hardly give away normal males.
Plus...based on your description, it sounds like the poor thing has been severely underfed, at the very least. I'd offer to rescue the poor thing for FREE...but I would not dream of encouraging such neglect by rewarding it with money.
