    It really depends on how the snake looks. It should be a little thicker in the center half of the body. Some people who don't want to breed or that just have them as pets don't feed as often as other people do. The thing is, if the snake looks thin and you can see it's spine easily then it's too underfed.

    Personally, at 7 months the size can vary greatly but that sounds way too light for me.

    I would feed it small meals every 5 days until it gains a couple hundred grams and it will grow fast on a better schedule.
