Dumbo's are super cute but a quality top ear is also IMO.
Here's A blue top eared I made in early 09 just as I was transitioning over to all dumbos...
I was lucky enough to be able to pick up my original breeding stock(good timing) and have really enjoyed making some super friendly pet quality critters.
Our original group of 12 rats set us back over $400 but over the almost 2 years I've bred them it's been well worth that original investment.
All Dumbo's and the ability to produce black's, blue's, Siamese and Dwarf's with Rex's and Velveteen coats made it an easy choice over buying standard black hooded and other mass produced top eared rats.
I've since hooked up with a partner and we share rat genetics so neither of us are doing too much inbreeding unless it's necessary.
