Building one out of a Redbull Mini fridge. It's the super minature one, so I had to COMPLETELY gut it today. I had at least 4 to 5 hrs into the just the guy out today. I got the fridge for 60 bucks though! So as far as money is concerned, even tho the work has been lengthy, it will be totally worth the work. Cheap! And the ones that I have seen look awesome and work like a charm. Check out Craig's List if you are looking to get one and find a mini fridge!

BTW, here is the link to the directions on how to build this thing. Awesome directions.

Will Post pics when I get er' done! Happy Breeding everyone!

Hopefully I will be using this soon! Pepsi mini fridge converted. I installed the switch on the side to control the light. Works good, now just waiting to put something in it!

Re: What incubator do you use?

This is my second season using my homemade incubator. It is a full sized single door coke fridge. Got it on craigslist for $75 some flex watt, a herpstat and a computer fan. It works great and can hold a good amount of eggs...

First 2 years we used a Georgia Quail Farm 1250R incubator. Great piece of equiptment but held 9 clutched tops.

Next 2 years we used a converted fridge which held 16 clutches.

This year we are converting a stand up freezer. It will hold between 24 and 36 clutched depending on how they are stacked and how we adjust the shelves. This one is painted royal purple an looks great!
