don't know to expect or not.

this girl is around 2800 grams, i have been pairing her since October. this was taken a few days ago and tonight she just shed. could this just be a shed before ovulation? since i have not seen her go through ovulation.

It could be her prelay shed, especially if she is refusing the male. I would make sure you are prepared for eggs in 30 days just in case.

she was eating great until she was going into shed. and then i stopped offering her food to wait till she was done shedding. male is in with another female at the moment. she just shed right before this post. i will keep cycling the male through her until something happens.

Have you palpated her to see if she has follicles/eggs? If they are higher up then she has not ovulated yet, if they are on the lower 1/3 then she may have ovulated! You will have to keep an eye on her behavior to get an idea whats going on with her.
