I could be wrong! But I don't think there is a such thing called 50% ringer.
I think you'll get normals maybe a ringer.

The genetics of ringers isn't very well known. There are certainly people who breed lines out that seem to produce ringers now an again--but more than likely you'll just produce normals. That's just speculation really, but I can say that whatever mutation causes ringing isn't simple recessive and/or dominant/co-dominant, it's a bit more mysterious than that.
Cheers,

R.I.P. Steve, I'll miss you more than you could have ever known. I love you.

As far as I know, ringers are usually het pieds! If that is the case, you will get normals that are 50% het pied and you might get one that is a ringer but there is no guarantee! You should really be breeding the ringer to a het pied or pied for the best results!

Re: Ringer male x Normal Female
From what I know, het pieds are usually ringers, but ringers aren't always het pieds. From what I've seen ringers tend to be just a random occurence, there's no het for ringers that we can identify at the moment, and the genetics are unknown, if in fact it is inheritable at all.

0.1 YB - Diana
0.1 Pastel Boa - Astrid

Re: Ringer male x Normal Female
In Kevin McCurley's book He states that it is Co-dominant or dominant within certain lines. He also stated that they often see Ringers pop up in random clutches. This is still a mystery.

X2
Ringers pop up not only in normals but in other morphs as well, and fully 90% of the time it is not genetic nor inheritable.
