Question re: my quadruple codom project

So I'm new here and I have quite a few raise ups. Although I have a lesser cinnamon and a butter pastel that are up to breeding size and I have put them together and they started doing the do! Has anyone done this yet if so are there any pics of all for genetics in one ball? I know I'll prolly get some combos of each and what not but just wanna see if anyone has it yet because I wanna see the combo of all in one.

    Hi,

Wouldn't all 4 morphs in the same snake be an all white snake?

I really don't know but would suspect you would only be able to tell what the genetics of any offspring containing butter and lesser were by holding them back and breeding them.

He's right if one snake contained all 3 genes it would be a Blue Eyed Leucistic. Now you could have a snake with all 4genes but I believe It would look like any other BEL. There is a chance you could find a pic of 3 genes either a Lesser pstel cinnie or a butter pastel cinnie but I've never seen one.

Oh and yeah, the BEL would wash everything out. Unless something crazy happens.

hey super fire pastels look different then normal super fires, so who knows if the BEL would also look different, after seeing the super fire pastel, i think it might.

Are you sure that's a pastel lesser cinny? There are a couple of them up on the classifieds right now -- one is posted by Bradford Cole, the other by John Michael Reptiles (who I believe also produced the super you posted) -- and both are quite a bit brighter than that guy.

Could he just be a lesser-cinny (no pastel)?

I don't know where he got the picture from, but 2 of the 3 morphs (lesser and pastel) are very variable, im sure there will be a very wide range of colors they could come in, so it easily possible for some to be darker than others.

IF you hit any combo with both butter and lesser you more then likely going to end up with a white snake ( BluEL ). and since butter and lesser BEL's are REAL white there is little chance that the other genes would show. if it was a Super mojave BEL then it would have a better chance.

Would love to see pics of the clutch to see what happened though.. in the BP world we never realy know until it happens... lol
