Got to love early eggs. Iam not sure whats worse, waiting for eggs or hatching....

Just curious, why do you have the eggs sitting on lighting diffuser rather than just laying in the vermiculite? Whats the benefit?

Keeps them from getting too wet.

By doing it that way I can fill the bottom up with water in the vermiculite and not have to worry about them getting too wet like someone said and also I don't have to worry about humidity issues since there is plenty of water in there. I just don't trust myself with mixing the verm just right and not messing it up and this way worked perfect for me last year so why fix something that isn't broken?
