    cage related not eating?

ok, I have a female who is not eating. she is in a 36x18x18in. glass tank. she hasent eatin' in the longest time and i was wondering if its worth moving her into a tub of some sort. I think stress is to blame. what the easyest way to set somthing up that will make her feel surcure in a diff. habitat. or should i just keep her in the same tank. or should i get her eating in a tub set up and move her back up to the tank.? please help!

It would be great if you can give us more information of your set-up - and pictures if you have it.

How much does the snake weigh, how long has it been since he ate last, etc.

And no - if a snake is not eating in his enclosure (as he is used to), he will less likely eat outside of it.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

You can try putting black paper on the outside, and crumpling up newspaper to put inside the container if you want to keep her in the same enclosure. If you want to switch her, try a 28 quart tub.

Make sure she's got two tight fitting hides to choose from. If she's sexually mature and off feed for breeding season, even a house change won't put her back on feed. Its just something they go through. They're more interested in boys than food and thats ok. She'll eat when she's ready. Try offering every two weeks or so now that its warming up. Usually that triggers them to start eating.
