okay so i need help deciding what to do..

I have only 1 normal female ready to breed. im probably gunna do a 1 clutch a year type thing.

and for males i have a pastel almost ready to breed probably ready within the next couple months hes at aroung 1000g.
and a het albino male about the same size as the pastel.

but my question is what should i buy? im gunna get probably 2 more females and another male so what do you guys think i should get?

    my choices are:

    male mojave
    female mojave
    male spider
    female spider
    male fire
    female fire
    male lesser
    female lesser
    male yellowbelly
    female yellowbelly
    male black pastel
    female black pastel

    thanks in advance!,
    Mike H.

You pastel male is breeding size now , as far as helping you decide what to get, you need to ask yourself, what do you want to produce, then go from there. I'd get m/f mojo's, m/f fire. m/f pastel, m/f spiders

yea im gunna get him up to 1200g before breeding.

i think im gunna go for the firebee project. ill get female fire female spider and than a male fire.

    so ill breed:

    Fire X Spider
    Pastel X Fire

    and than ill do:

    Pastelfire X Firespider.

it should be a pretty fun project with some really cool outcomes.

    thanks for the input BTW,
    Mike H.

    Re: breeding plans.

I am working towards the "all whites". I am personally going with the mojave X Lesser for mine but hey what ever you like better. That would probably be a fairly inexpensive way to go but with what you already have you may want to look into one of those morphs thats at least het albino that way you have the possibility of albinos with the male you already have. The black pastel albinos are pretty nice looking and there is always the possibility of the cherry bomb in the future if you can find a mojave het albino. So many possibilities out in the ball python world it is really up to you and your preferences.
Good luck on whatever you choose.
    Ball Pythons:
    1.0 Albino
    1.0 Lesser
    1.0 Pastel
    0.2 100% Het Albino
    0.10 66% Het Albino
    0.1 Spider
    0.1 Pinstripe

I think is more a personal preference.. I started the way you are thinking.. Then I got totally hooked.

Personally I like the Lesser/Lesser BEL. Its white is very clean! AND i am partial to the Blackpastels.

    My two cents. good luck.

    Re: breeding plans.

Why wait til the Pastel male is 1200 grams? Weight really doesn't make a difference in breeding a male (as long as he is healthy and producing plugs).

To stay on topic...I'm a sucker for white snakes too, so I would vote Mojo. In fact I am working on a Mojo x Mojo pairing now.

    Re: breeding plans.

Males are ready to date the ladies by the time they are 500g, some even sooner. If your male is 1000g, he's more than ready!

My vote is a female mojave, female spider, and a male fire.
    Under Construction.....
