    can;t tell if there locking

Im currently trying to breed my 1200g pastel and 1600g normal female.I did not cool down and have been doing 3 days on one week off...for the last month or so...so far I am not sure if I have seen a real clear locking most of the time they look like they do in the pic..I guess they could be locking but there no way to be sure any advice?????he recently just shed and they both have been eating pretty good...i even tried introducing another male for a few hours to induce my male pastel to do his thing per se but dont think it really worked.

any advice would be greately appreciated as this is my first breeding attempt

You have to see their tails in order to tell.

Re: can;t tell if there locking

So it's raining today in riverside and I paired my snakes togethor but stil no visible locks...they mainly just sit on top of each other lol cuddling cuz there to shy to take it to the next level....so ive started trying to trouble shoot my problems and this is what i came up with

1.My female that is 1600g is still underweight to breed because she is just under 5 feet long and is to skinny for her length

2.I never cooled down (it could be a factor even though people seem to get good results doing both)

3.Even tho im 99% sure of the sexes of my snakes it couldent hurt double checking....

Im mainly woried about my female since the male I got produced last year and my female is a virgin...the other thing is that Im not sure about her age the petstore i got her from said about 2 years but who knows????
