Need Advice on display friendly snake~

Carpet pythons make good display snakes, however their temperament is pretty variable. I've met some that were absolute dolls and others that were quite fiery.

Another thing I can suggest to you is to try a boa. They don't generally hide much, and don't even need hides past the awkward baby months. They'll generally sit out and just chill, and they've got great temperaments. Yes, boas can be large depending on the locality, but if you go for a Nicaraguan/Central American boa the females rarely surpass 5 - 6 feet as adults.

Yes on the boa. We have a Dumeril boa and he is great! Hes soo calm when handled and out of his enclosure! 90% of the time he is visible, hanging out in the open. Great looking snake, looks kinda intimidating at first! As for the carpet, i just got my first one about 1 month ago and hes a jerk, all he ever does is bite me. He is a youngen still so im trying to handle him as much as i can to get him used to it.
