    Question Pet shop's frozen mice?

    Hello everyone,

Last day I went to a pet shop and I saw frozen foods for reptiles in the store, but I don't know how long the foods have being in the fridge.
My question is would people recognize buying frozen mice from pet shop?

    Thank you !

I've had some bad luck with frozen petshop rodents. Of course we really only have big chains like petsmart/petco that sell them. We tried buying from multiple locations and we seemed to have really, REALLY bad luck.. Once they were rotten, once they were just completely soaked in their own blood which was gross and I didn't feel comfortable feeding them, and on more than one occasion the rats had clearly um..exploded. Organs everywhere. Really gross. They sell 'arctic mice' I think was the name, but I really almost think it's just our locations that are the problem rather than the brand. I've had enough issues with them I don't feel safe spending my money, and I'd worry about feeding it even if it seemed okay!

I've gotten them from PetSmart when my herp club has been out. No problem with them and I like the individual baggies they come in.

I have been getting the Artic ones at Petsmart with no issues. At the moment i only have BP that I adopted. The problem is they are way to expensive. In my area 2 small rats for almost $12. Goin to check the show out here next week for some and another BP. If not i will order some cause even with shipping it's cheaper than Petsmart.
