hmmm smokey room, bad temps, and extended hours of exposure to people. if it was a boa or anything else someone would have definitely been bitten. but i do understand ur frustration that would make me mad as well i mean i have had my big normal girl out for like maybe an hour at a party but the party was 2 doors down from my dorm so it was no big deal and it was more of a kick back only about 10 15 ppl so not big deal but a hookah lounge thats ridiculous... makes me wanna go to the hookah lounge now havent been in forever... all we can do in this situation is pray for those snakes that they will be ok cant really change that owners mind

That would make me mad too. I see too much animal abuse on a daily basis to let that go so good for for speaking to him even if he didn't listen right away maybe he will remember it.

I actually chewed out my roommate the other day for smoking a pipe in the living room which is where my boy is housed so hopefully that will not be happening again or heads will roll, lol.

I would have said something too. Even if your warnings fall on deaf ears, it's good to at least try.

I want to bring my female BCC to the local reptile show but I'm back and forth about it. So many people bring their snakes that I'm worried someone with a sick snake may want to handle her.

It sucks when you want to bring your animal to a place they are welcome but are worried about it contracting something bad.

A smoke shop though.. To me that just screams "attention". In those conditions there is no reason to have an animal of any kind with you.

I wonder if the management knew he had them. Did you think to tell them? If not, and it happens again, I would. I would think only service animals would be allowed in, just like any other place of business.

Hats off you saying something though, even if he didn't listen. A lot of people would have said, "Oh it's wrong but not my place to say anything." Hopefully he won't be so careless in the future.. Maybe something you said sank it at some point.
