My first season is going well

    Well, so far so good.

My very first breeding season is well underway. I got started way late due to needing to build a rack for my big girls, but they seems to be making up for lost time just fine.

My first pairing is a big normal female to my proven pastel male, they've successfully locked 4 times as of yesterday, and I think she's getting bigger,

Second pairing is a super light normal female who locked with my vanilla male three times and then was gracious enough to show my little mojave male what the breeding thing is all about.

Third in the lineup is also the newest. My sweet mojave girl who tried without success to coax my mojave into something, and was content to allow my stud-muffin vanilla to do his thing.

I know it takes time to go from locking to eggs, but I can't help but be excited. And even better, I've ALMOST worked up the nerve to try photographing the locks!
