So I took my super mojave out

...and I just happened to have the cardboard boxes I use for feeding out on the table. And she slithered past them, and then around them, and then around them again... and then climbed up them and inside the top one and settled down to wait. And when I peered in at her she craned her head up at me with a little tilt like: So where's the mouse?

I'm in my box. Produce the mouse already.

And then she stayed there for a half hour, until I finally broke down and thawed her a darn mouse.

AW! Lol! So cute. I put my Ball in his feeding box while I cleaned out his tank, only I made the mistake of putting my hand in to pull him back out without a mouse. I got bit, I learned my lesson. Lol!

So that's how I learned that the head tilt-plus-periscope after a meal means "Where's dessert?"

Because once in a while I'll put my hand in there to remove the snake after the first rodent, and my thumb will get chomped. So now everyone generally has to refuse seconds before I'll take them out.

Hahah! I knew I was going to get bit but my hand was quicker than my brain... DELAY! He bit onto my hand, chomped down, realized my hand was not a mouse, then spit me out. I felt rejected... Lol!
