    when to handle?

    i just got my first bp and am really excited about him..i have had him 3 days and was wondering when i can handle him? i cant remember if its 3 or 5 days? or a week -.-; i just dont remember! any help greatly appreciated!

    Ideally 2 days after his first meal for you, if the first meal is successful.

    From My Experience I Would Say Wait A Week So He/She Wont Stress Out And Can Settle In The Enclosure So That The First Time You Feed It Will Go Smooth.

    ah..ok well he has fed fine allready and his setup is good so he can relax at whatever temp he wants (and uses both hides regularly) so i suppose its just patience on my part! arg i just want to hold him..im soo excited to have my first ball! lol he is just toooo cute! cant wait to take photos (have a nice camera!)

    Yeah its hard to leave a new snake alone, but its for the best.
    Waiting about a week will let him get used to his new home and let him calm down and get rid of some stress from moving to a new home.

    I just finished acclimating my new babies. Trust me, if you dont leave em alone for a week, they wont eat. Luckily my albino girl chowed down yesterday
