    Scale rot or burn

    When I bought my snake from a petstore (they take in snakes that theowner can't care for) he had a red blister on his belly I've never seen a really clear pic of what scale rot looks like or a minor thermal burn look like I've seen major burns and major rot but not minor but the snakeeats and had a shead I just want to know how many sheds till the mark is gone or will it always be thre also after the shed he bled a lol but stoped quickly

    Did you treat him at all, is it getting better, and do you have any pics? (you will get more advice if you give a little more information, it's hard to say with the information you've given)

    It's hard to tell, but I don't think it is a burn. Burns usually cover a larger area from the snake laying coiled up on a heat pad that is too hot.

    How long have you had your snake? It looks like there could have been a burn or mild scale rot. But it looks like it is healing..
