    That can work. You crumple up a bunch of pages of newspaper and fill up the entire cage with them. However, it will be tougher to keep an eye on him. You can try that method, leave him alone for at least a week, and then try feeding again.

    What kind of hides are in the enclosure? How big is the enclosure? What is the warm side temperature, cool side temperature, ambient (air) temperature, and humidity? Pictures can always help give us a better idea of what you're working with.
