Re: Has anyone ever had males lock?

My question was more out of concern on the snake being injured or even breedable anymore. As there are really no sex organs behind the cloaca for a female I figured it to still be breedable and being in my possesion and feeding for almost a year not to say also locking with my male I would be led to believe that it is not injured. Just looking for similar instances if there are any.
Can the animal be injured and probe male? Absolutely Will the animal still able to breed? Yes

Did you probe on both sides?

Now chances of a female being sold as a male is less likely than than the opposite though it can still happen if the seller sexed the animal once and put the wrong label on it and never re-sex it before shipping.

What I would still encourage you to do is to have someone pop the animal, I am sure you can find someone local that can do it for you and teach you in the same time.
