What's the diameter of an adult male retic?
How big in diameter will a male retic get to be with proper weekly feeding (no excessive feeding)?

I'm sure there's an "average" but like anything else, no 2 will be the same. Genetics play a role in every animal's size, and different people have different ideas of what "proper weekly feeding" is.

I'm just looking for an average. Just a rough guess what would you say?

I would say somewhere around 4-6ish, its hard to guesstimate a diameter even when you are looking at the animal but I would say somewhere in there give or take an inch

I would HIGHLY doubt that a full grown 14 foot retics body diameter is 4 inches....6 inches or so sounds much closer.

Most fully grown adult retics Ive seen at reptile expos are roughly 10 inches for females, and closer to 7 inches for males. They're absolutely huge.

That's not always a good thing. Retics arnt suppose to be a big bodied snake, a lot of times the huge ones in my experience are the breeders, my almost 2 year old retic is still only pushing 8ft and I feed him regularly and he's slightly thicker then a baseball bat at the sweet spot, I imagine hell grow to 10ft if I'm lucky but he won't be a breeder so I could really care less, they are suppose to be fast agile and able to climb which is why I don't personally see the point in a 200lb 14ft retic

1.0 black lab "parker" or any innapropriate word that comes to mind when needed..

I think it was Greg Bryant from retic ranch that I talked to that told me he likes his breeder males to be on the smaller side. Around 45-65lbs. He said if there overfed then they will exceed 100lbs extremely easy. I'll probably wait a couple years till my anaconda gets full grown till I jump to a retic. I have a big enough room to put a 8x3 or 8x4 cage in.
