    Tub size?????

Do you guys think a 41qt sterilite tub is too big for a 1100gram male? He's always been a picky eater, though things did improve going from tank to tub, he's still a pain at times. Im asking because I am planning to build a rack and trying to plan on tub sizes I will need as when I add more snakes they most likely will be smaller until I am ready to try breeding. So he will be the biggest at first. Should I bother with 41qt's, or plan for a few sideways 41's and keep the rack wide. Opinions, ideas??????

You can build a 41 qt rack and if he doesn't like it, then buy a 28 qt tub and just push it in further to get to the heat tape. Problem solved.

All I can tell you is that we keep our males in the 28qt tubs and females in 41qt tubs. The males seem to thrive in the smaller tubs. Just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks, guess i'll build a rack with 28's and smaller, then later when needed build a rack for 41's. I just need to get it built instead of being OCD and debating it.

Sounds like a 28qt tub rack would best suit your needs
