My first BP and Trouble with Shedding, help please
I'm not sure if she's actually okay or not, the pic I have in my sig I took this morning so this is parts of her new skin. She shed last night, started around 9pm stayed up until around Midnight, she took frequent breaks in this time, and she still isn't completely finished shedding. The humidity has been between 70 and 85 during this. Around 6pm yesterday before the shed me and my boyfriend put her in the bath tub with luke warm water to help her stretch out so to say and help her shed process. She got in the water for maybe 30 seconds to see what it was about, she's a baby still, then she wanted out of the water so we dried her well and put her back under her log. She shedded in pieces, badly. She's got most of it off but I would like her to complete it without our help. We read a few different places that said if they shed in pieces you can spray hot water on them just to loosen more skin a little bit, which we've done that a couple times, but I think she still has a few pieces left on her, and I'm not completely sure about her head. We were trying to look at the eye caps to see if those came off but I'm not really sure what it's supposed to look like when they're off, and also about the tail, she has a dry piece at the tip which we can get that later, I just wanna know if she's okay and if we're doing everything right. I want to make her as comfortable as we can so she doesn't stress out. And also, how soon will we be able to handle her after the shed, bc I know they're fussy during blue/shed, is there a certain limit we should wait until she's comfortable again?
Thank you so much for reading, and any suggestions are well appreciated!
