    New to site/snakes

Hello, the kids have recently talked my wife and I into getting a Ball Python. After much research we did. His name is T Bone Snake. The vet said he seems healthy and de-wormed / de-parasited him. He weighed 114 grams and is about 13 weeks old.

Welcome. I got my first snake (a BP) about six months ago. He's great. Make sure to handle your snake a few times every week. (But not in the 48 hours after feeding....)

I swear mine truly enjoys being taken of his cage and given the chance to roam around a bit.

    Welcome to the site!

Also make sure you leave him be for a while. They stress easily and need time to adjust to a new home. Once he has eaten a few times you can hold him all you want. They really aren't a species that needs handled all the time to 'tame' them. They are not an aggressive species so they are not going to become aggressive if they aren't handled all the time. The most important thing is that they are eating regularly and babies can be a real pain about that. Feel free to ask any questions, people are always happy to answer them!
