Which is better, or worse?
Ok just to start, I am not having a problem, just curious! Is it better/worse for ambient temps to be too low as in 70-75, or too high as in 90-95? Which would or could affect a python more as in if the substrate temps were good, and humidity was fine like for a ball or a burm or retic or other snakes with about the same husbandry needs?

I would venture to say higher, however it's not advisable. Dehydration as well as other complications due issues thermoregulating will/can occur. In my opinion, I would say it's better to be a little warmer then colder.

I'd think as long as there was a 90-92 degree hot spot to lay on that 70-75 degrees would be preferable to 90-95 ambient with no place to cool off.
