    Cross breeding

Quick question I have not really been able to find. It has to do with inbreeding. For obvious moral and legal reasons as well as genetic humans can't do this; on the genetic level it would cause a host of deformaties and other issues. With bp's are you able to? And if so how many generations for example I buy an albanio. Breed with my normal to produce het albinos then breed these together. Once I get full albinos I then breed those together to produce a full clutch of albinos. Is this ok? And at what point if any do you start to see issues with breeding like this.

    Thanks

FYI: The societal taboos in human inbreeding far outpace any genetic risks involved.

I wish I knew where this idea that if two siblings had a kid, it would be a 3 armed mutant with bad teeth and green skin originated. Perhaps that episode of the X-files?

I was not so much talking that if people did this there first kid would be an alien. But by three generations major psychological and genetic issues are present. And on a side note I miss the x-files :@)

The royal families Granted they did that generation after generation, but from what I've seen on the history/discovery channel it wasn't really physical deformations that were the problem, it was the genetic health disorders that started popping up.

To the OP, generally one time of sib to sib is fine, and mom to son/dad to daughter is fine, past that people start to get their panties in a bunch.
