    Weight/age chart?

    Hey BP-net!

Was wondering if someone could direct me to a "general" weight and size chart. Just wanted to see how my normal male is doing, perhaps I could ease up on feeding or if I wanna maybe feed a lil more. I know that all BP's are different, but it'd be nice to take a look at the averages.

    Cheers!

PS- My BP shrike (male) is 4 months old and almost 300 grams, is he big for his age? He's a little over 2 feet long.

    Hey

It's VERY different how fast bp's put on weight. As you already know.. But to compare I can tell you about my males..

My Spider and YB males weighted around 400-500 gram when they were around 4 months old. But these 2 guys are monster eaters, they eat everything served! I also have a Cinnamon male, he's not a very good eater, and only weights around 400 gram, though he is 8 months old.

So to my knowledge 4 months and 300 gram is just perfect

My female norm, being 6 years old... and not gravid, yet... Locked up a less than a week ago, weighs nearly 3 kg on her own. She isn't a picky eater at all! She prefers a medium and a large in one sitting, and eats every two weeks.

Haha I figured as much... just thought it might be interesting to see .

Yea... I don't know why this guy is so long! He's not skinny by any means, but he doesn't seem to be getting very thick, just.... longer .

Thanks for all the replies, always interesting to hear the size/weight of other's animals .

    Cheers!
