When you feed, do you stand over and watch them? I've had pretty good luck with either leaving them in the dark or covering the tub with a towel to give them more privacy.
I've never heard of the bath idea. I typically leave the snakes alone on feeding day to make sure they're not going to stress out and be picky.
I do stand over them only to hold the mouse in my tongs once they strike i leave them
