Anyone work at a shelter, something that really irks me about BPs in shelters

They never get to be social or happy? When was the last time they interviewed a BP owned by a breeder? I mean really, I think a healthy, fed, well-kept snake is probably a pretty happy snake. I'm just now learning more about them in the hopes of having some in the future, and even I have figured that much out.

Trust me, I've heard some pretty ridiculous things from the shelters in my area. One told me that BPs will become depressed and stop eating if they are kept in 'tiny' enclosures and never socialized. I understand that people think it's cruel to keep BPs in tubs, I get that, but to say that they become depressed.....It took everything I could to simply correct them by saying that's entirely untrue and leave it at that. I was talking to them in person and I just about died laughing!
