Re: last chance?
The last day is whatever you make it to be and who says there as to be a last day anyway
Some people stop some people breed throughout the year, the key is to know YOUR animals and decide for yourself

I'm in vt and Keep pairing even after the heat goes back to normal until April. So my breeding season is generally from oct to feb or nov to April. Also before I stop them I look for signs from both the male and female that they may want to stop on their own. Ie them just not being interested in each other any more or ovulation etc.

I have 2 girls with big follicles now, and 3 from last season who didn't lay until Aug., Sept., & Oct., and 3 more that who knows what's going with them lol.
Check out what's available at

Re: last chance?
lovelace, question:
Did you keep pairing them through the summer? Or did they just take that long to develop, ovulate, and lay?
