I've thought about this and mentioned it it a few posts. I do see problems with "showing" snakes.
1) how do you prove genetics?
2) who would set standards?

As far as who would subject their snakes to judging, I don't see that as a big problem. Just have them in a display case with an information card. Maybe comparing it to rabbits and chickens is better than dogs and cats. But the genetics part is still tough. What would keep someone from entering a "bumble bee" and it's a fire bumble bee. But problems aside, I would love to go to a show and see tons of top of the line snakes on display!
