Flex watt question
It has been a long day between replacing a water pump on one of my employees trucks and replacing all of the zoo-med uth with flex-watt.
To be specific the flex-watt is 11" wide and 12" long sections.
I have 5 tanks on one thermostat and 3 of them are identical temps but the other two are almost 5 degrees hotter.
I have the thermostat set to 93, so the hotter 2 are about 98. I am not too worried about burns as those two snakes dont burrow and it is not that hot on top of their bedding.
Is this something that is normal?
I am ocd on the temps, this is why I switched to flex-watt. So they were all the same exact set-ups on UTH.

Re: Flex watt question
I've had the same issues sometimes. I've only got 3 identical tubs attached to my thermostat, but there are some times when the temperatures will vary a bit. part of it i've attributed to whether or not someone is sitting on it [the thermometer probe] or not but for the most part its kinda random. since its only ±5 degrees or so and its not all the time I figure I can't really do much about it. Sorry if that doesn't help much; I'm sure someone else can give better help.

Is it one long strip under all the tanks or individual sections of flaxwatt wired separately for each tank?
