When to raise temps after cooling period
Hello, I have bred my fire, yellowbelly, and het albino females with their respective counterparts. I started cooling them in october and have witnessed guaranteed locks 3-4 times on all of them from then until the end of December. They have since stopped locking or showing interest and are seeking the cool side of the tub, are all in perfect coils, look lumpy, appear to be building, and havnt eaten for a month give or take. My question is, should I raise the temps back up and turn back on the belly heat at night or wait untill I see ovulation (if I catch it)? Also, is it turning the heat back on that influences the female to ovulate and fertilize her follicles? Any input would be welcome, I am a first time breeder and have been reading up on it for years but nothing has prepared me for the wait. Thanks

I believe for the ones the reduse their temps, they raise them back up in Feb. or March, I don't cool mine.

I put females back on heat 24/7 after they have a prelay shed.
