Not all lessers are from RDR, different lines get imported from africa, according to a random google Reptile Industries imported the butter. Now they all most likey come from the same common animal in the wild. or the exact same mutation happened in the wild in multiple animals.

I honestly believe they are different lines. Take a butterbee and lesser bee. They are very similar but still have a different effect on combos. But i have what was sold to me as a butter, and all this guys butters looked WAAAY different than his lessers.

    But both are gorgeous

personally I would go with whichever I could find that had that creamy yellow color and pale browns/tans on it.. that said I have seen more butters I like but more lesser/other morph combos I like..

    Re: Butter or lesser?

It's going to be difficult to know for a fact I think.
We have bought Savings Grace Line lessers and a year later my buddy bought a "butter" from someone else and the "butter" he was sent is exactly the same as the lessers we already had
I tried to dig up pictures of my friends "butter" but I must have deleted them
Even if they are different how will one know which is which, lol.
