I wouldn't lift his hide up! Just leave him be so he can settle in. Lifting his hide will stress him out and make him feel not secure. I know it's so hard not to but once he is used to you, you can do it more often! Good luck and welcome to the addiction!!! WARNING: YOU WILL WANT MORE!!!
