Hi guys I was thinking of getting a low priced female that will be ready to breed next season in order to get practice in before my project itself takes off in 2 years. Is this a good idea, I will be breeding 4 females in that year and want to get a started with a smaller "practice" session what do u guys think?

There's really nothing to practice...your part is fairly simple...and the snakes know their part pretty well too... Instead of spending the money on a breedable female, I'd put it towards an incubator if you don't already have one, or a hatchling rack. Or more adult racks for your holdbacks...or a good proportional thermostat...etc...
