I guess 1.5 would be ok but if they all have litters at one time it's going to be a lot of rats in one ten gallon tank and holding over would need to be done in another tank.

1.4 is as large of a group as I do in 10 gal tanks. and with that many they need changed once a week or they are living in squalor
