Verify temps aren't too high, also did you change the substrate? Other than that she could be about to shed, sometimes they will stay pink and the eyes will go back to normal looking a few days before they shed.

yeah I have an accurite probe on hot side floor at 91. cold side 79. and most of the time she's half and half most on the cool side building. yes recently went from coco husk to paper towels.

Hmm, sounds like everything is right.. I'm betting she'll shed in the next few days.. either way keep an eye on her but I don't think there is anything to panic over..

I hope so. she is getting some serious follicle growth. im thinking an ovulation is not that far off. I'll give it a week, I put some extra sheets of pt in there for her

Mmm... I would say it'd be best to put the probe under the substrate but inside the enclosure to be seeing exactly what your snake could be getting at if she ever were to figure out how to get under the paper towels.
People say to put the thermostat probe directly on the heat source, which is correct, but you won't get any valuable information from having the thermometer probe on the heat source directly.

my Tstat was set to 89 and it read 93 on the floor, on the heat tape it read that it went from 80-102 every time it cycled. herpstat here I come?

Thermostat probe should be on the heat tape. Thermometer can be inside, or use a temp gun to get temps in the tub.

yeah ordering a temp gun to my purchase tonight, should I invest in a herpstat as well? the zilla Tstat is an on/off and it looks like it's causing problems.
