I agree, a yellow belly should SCREAM yellow belly
Especially if you have aspirations of breeding it...

That's what I'm talking about right there...great looking YB...

Ah, you guys are talking about the actual yellowness of the belly. Sure you want that, I was talking more about markings. The picture of the snake for sale looks like a funky picture with flash, hard to tell it it's belly is yellow or not, it sure doesn't "scream" yellow.
Here is mine:

His belly is for sure yellow... Does it scream? I dunno.

Re: Is this a Yellow Belly?
A good quality yellow belly is pretty easy to tell from the top too.
I hatched a yb last season that looks very much like the OP's with clear belly and all, but it was still easy to tell it was a yb from the sides and top and belly.
If the OP could show side pics of the snake it would be much easier to tell if it was in fact a yellow belly.

This is more what I was asking about.

I'd say so...the yellow belly and the speckling on the sides...the intense flames...faded head spot...

Always good to know others think you picked a good snake. Sean had a lot of nice ones to choose from.
He's about to get fed in a few, the little guy is growing like a weed!

I suppose if the goal is to only produce ivories, it really wouldn't matter. I would think a screamer like your's comes into play when crossing into other morphs. That's where it will pay off to be patient and look for the best...

I plan on putting this guy to my fire and albino ladies once they are ready. I do plan on putting yellow belly into everything and everything I can get my hands on. I like how it brightens things up. That's why I named my guy Variable.
I'm trying to find pictures of yellowbelly + cinny but no joy.
