If you are wondering if prices on 2011 hatchlings will go down from 2010 hatchlings it is really up in the air. Could prices go down, yes. Could they go up, yes, could they stay the same yes. If breeders sold their stock really fast last year, they might raise the price. If they had trouble getting them bought, they might lower the price. They could also jsut keep their prices as they are.
All are really possible. Price from one breeder to the next could easily change daily dependeing on what the breeder is actually thinking. Some might have their set price and keep it that way. Some might be wanting to get rid of their product so they will sell it cheaper. Some might want a higher price then it should be and they are will to sit on the animal until a sucker pays.
On my batch of FS's this year I just wanted to get them sold. If I tried I probably could have made 75-100 dollars each for them but I just wanted to get them out so I sold some for 50, some for 30 and even just gave a couple away. All people I sold to were also respectable reptile owners though.
Find one you like and just try to haggle with the seller. You might get a deal on them. If not, as long as the price is decent and in your budget, buy it.
If you are looking to buy a snake that is a few years old as opposed to a new hatchling, the hatchling will probably sell for cheaper. Most people sell older snakes for a higher price as it cost them to take care of that snake. Also if it is a possible breeder they coud sell it for higher jsut because people will pay it so they can start breeding right away instead of waiting a few years.
