Red underside

UPDATE:: His skin has faded from a red to a more of a pinkish color. I think you are all right about him going into shed because bits of dead skin are now starting to peel off. Here are some pics:

You can see the redness better on his lower half on this picture.



Also there is some tiny scabbing going on..
