    I wouldn't risk any tape inside my terrarium. I have the exact same background in my old 55 gallon Exo-terra viv (I moved the snake to a smaller enclosure). The background I bought (that exact same design too) is sized exactly for the 55 gallon, so it is a very tight fit. When I push the background into the back of the viv and put the lid on, the background doesn't move. After I put the substrate, hides, branches, etc., that background is not moving. No need for tape or velcro or anything.
