    disturbing behavior

ok so heres the deal i just recently moved my baby from the garage into my room cause i figured she would like being inside a more controled climate (plus it made me feel better about the temps in here tank) and shes been in here from a week now but everytime i enter the room she she lifts head up and kinda shakes a little like she in a strike pose . so my question is that do you think that my room is to busy for her since shes used to being out in the garage all alone most of the day because i spend a lot of time in my room. do you think that she will get used to my comings and goings or am i gonna have to kinda keep tip toeing in to my room as long as she is in here? to be honest it kinda irritates me a little since (and i know she couldnt care less) i made the effort to make enough space for her so shed be a little more comfortable
oh and she does go back to relaxing after a few minutes of my not moving around but as soon as i get up to leave again she gets all flustered again

    Re: disturbing behavior

You pretty much just changed her environment so she will need time to re-adjust...

Vypryz is totally correct. You changed the snake's environment so now it needs time to adjust. Just leave the snake be for a little while.

She may also be feeling exposed. Cover 3 sides of her tank/tub with dark paper on the outside and that will give her more security. After that give her another 7 days to settle.

As long as your setup is right, then Vypyrz is right. Even my boy who's usually an absolute doll got all freaked out when I changed his environment. Just make sure you let her settle in and she'll go back to normal.

She is just checking you out since she is not used to you coming and going. She is not sure what your intentions are. If she was eating well in the garage and continues to eat well in your room then your good to go as long as your set up is correct (temps, hides, heat, humidity, etc) She should relax in time.
