LOL My YB have the same issues when I tried Switch from medium to large hide when he hit 1000g what help me in My situation was weather... My supper was oversleeping heating season and even with Herpstat put on 107 hot spot was like 86... Hes survival instinct overcome his "fear" of bigger hide.... although bastardo spend few nights between hide and back wall of the tube... I just was checking him every mourning and evening and put new hide over him... Now he love it..
Last feeding he even invite his food there before he kill it
