Although they were computer generated, the two most prominent snakes in Medusa's hair in Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief were ball pythons... with fangs of course.

I saw him too! I was watching it with my BF and our friend and I freaked out! "OMG, REWIND IT!!! GIVE ME THE CONTROLLER!" Lol, they were a little worried something was wrong for a second, but once I paused on the pied my BF understood. Little moments of reptile geek-ness are awesome
