I have to fix the sump pump. The basement has only had water in it 4 times in the last 4+ years and that was when we had some hard rains. I figure it's still worth replacing the sump and doing a little waterproofing to protect my investment down the road.
You think the old pit was toast? They put a 5 gallon metal bucket in as a liner.![]()
I spent an hour or so tonight cleaning it all out and breaking the concrete up in preparation for the new liner and pump that will be here next week.
For this project I have a new pump and liner on order.
For my pump I got a Zoeller as it is the most recommended sump pump out there. Zoeller Mighty Mate Sump Pump 3/10HP - M57 - consumersplumbing.com had the best price on this M57 (best for the money) I could find online.
For the liner I found this one on DrillSpot.com. They offer the best price and also free shipping.
